Learning to "see" interesting detail is a practised skill and we introduce you to easy methods that will open your photographer's eye and expose you to a world that is alive with detail. The most rewarding part of the class is learning how to approach interesting people and have them willingly pose for you.
We will also go over settings, focusing techniques and lens choices common to street photography to help us capture those random chance encounters.

We will be painting the sweetest little grasshopper with local artist, Jessica Lily. The instructor will guide the group through a step-by-step method to recreate this vignette. This is an all-levels friendly class.
Enjoy our comfortable, indoor setting at a gorgeous venue. We will also just hang out, talk shop and learn from each other as we move through our paintings together.
No experience necessary! This class is built to give beginners an easy process. This class is also great for more intermediate and advanced painters, as we will all learn from each other and incorporate our own unique creativity into our paintings.

What is a photo scavenger hunt you may ask? During this two hour meetup, each person will be given a list of 36 photo prompts meant to inspire and challenge each photographer to capture it in their own way. The prompts may be vague or very specific in what they ask but they are all easily achievable in every genre of photography. One could say RED, another could say REFLECTION, or INTROSPECTIVE or any variety of terms meant to be subjective.
Whether you enjoy portraiture, landscape, fine art, or anything else, this will surely be a fun and enjoyable experience for you.
Why 36 prompts? If you want a true challenge, I encourage you to shoot the entire 36 on one roll of film if you dare!
